• Monitor and Record Heart Activity: Observe and record the heart's electrical activity, noting any irregularities or abnormalities that require further examination by a physician.
• Assist with Stress Tests: Support physicians during cardiac stress tests by monitoring patients' heart activity under physical stress conditions.
• Operate and Maintain Equipment: Ensure that all EKG equipment is functioning correctly, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting any technical issues.
• Analyze EKG Results: Provide preliminary analysis of EKG readings to assist healthcare providers in diagnosing heart conditions.
• Document Patient Information: Accurately record patient data, test results, and any observations in their medical records.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Prepare Reports: Generate detailed reports based on EKG results for review by the attending physician.
